FIRST EDITION (1902), dated from British Library accession, 12mo, 148 x 115 mm, 5¾ x 4½ inches, white fake leather spine extending 45 mm (1¾") onto boards and lettered gilt, small coloured portrait of little blond boy on gilt with apple-blossom decoration to upper board, illustrated endpapers, pages: 24, 31. Half-tone frontispiece and 2 half-tone plates, 6 text illustrations, all by E. Stewart. Very slightly rubbed at head and tail of spine, corners just slightly worn.
