About This Item
1912. Ephemera. Single typed sheet, 8.25 x 11 inches. James K. Hackett (1869-1926) was an American actor and stage manager. On letterhead 'Tour of James K. Hackett / Season of 1911-1912', dated September 23, 1912. Letter deals with Hackett's plans to tour East via Los Angeles, correspondance re Professor Armes, University of California, Berkeley, and Hackett re publication of a work of Hackett, and thanks to O'Day for an evening at the Press Club, hoping that he will be voted a non-resident member of that club. Very good copy with rust marks from removed paperclip at top of letter. Letter previously folded for mailing. With typed addressed envelope with 'Tour of James Hackett / Season of 1911-1912' on rear.
