Chicago, 1910. unbound. 2 pages on "The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway System" letterhead, 10.5 x 8 inches, Chicago, December 13, 1910. Written by the president of the Santa Fe Railway System to the editor of the "Brooklyn Daily Eagle" regarding railroad investments, in part: "...There has grown up in this country a school of politicians that claims that the return on railroad investments should be limited to the current rate of interest on the value of the property used...in order to make railroad investments attractive or even safe the railroads themselves must be allowed to earn a considerable surplus over a fair return on the investment..." Natural folds and light creasing; staple holes in the upper left corner. Very good condition.<br/><br/>
