Blue cloth gilt and with a leather spine label gilt, small 4to., x, 170 (1) pages, illustrations and bound-in specimens, some in color. One of 500 copies printed from Baskerville types at the Southworth-Anthoensen Press. Laid in are the four-page prospectus and order form, a four-page review in green printed wrappers, a sewn eight-page off-print of "Five Title Pages" from Philobiblon, and the four-page prospectus for "Early American Children's Books" with order form affixed. Small tear at the rear endleaf, else a fine, clean copy in archival mylar.
