Leipzig: Karl Baedeker, 1927. 13th Revised Edition. Limp binding. Good plus. Red blind-stamped cloth over stiff card covers, title stamped in gilt onto upper cover and spine, 16mo (6-1/8 inches tall), pp. xxxv, [xxxvi], 612. Marbled edges, 65 maps, 19 town plans, 11 panoranas, two bound-in ribbon markers, map illustrated rear endpapers. Volume with p.o. name at top of front cover, binding worn and spine faded with bottom of rear joint started, endpapers with a few marginal notations, booksellers tag and small bits of tape residue to front pastedown, 2 panoramas loosely inserted, rust to staples in center, all maps fine. First and only edition thus, with the area being previously published as The Eastern Alps (1885) and Southern Germany and the Austrian Empire (1868). Hinrichsen E054.
