"John Vassos, artist, and industrial designer, studied under John Singer Sargent, George Bridgeman, and John Sloan. His first industrial design was a lotion bottle that became popular as a hip flask during Prohibition. He contributed his futuristic designs to RCA for 40 years, including a see-thru Lucite television cabinet for the 1939 World's Fair in Chicago. He illustrated several books, including several adaptations of Oscar Wilde titles. Protected in a clear mylar cover. Art Deco, Futurism. 122615B
