Slightly smaller book, maroon cloth, quotation from Captain John Parker at Battle of Lexington on title page, on reverse a quotation from Frederick Douglass, dedicated to men who died in first and last battle of Spanish Civil War. 383 browned pages. DJ beneath mylar has dark red background with illustration of Capitol Building and guerilla fighter on front, sketch of Bessie on back by Hugo Gilbert. DJ has slight surface wear to front tips, tiny nick at top front edge nearer spine, very slight wear at 1/4" of bottom front edge nearer spine, tiny tear and slight wear at spine top left and right edge, very slight wear at spine bottom left and right edge, microtear and micronick with crease at top back edge, tiny light brown stain at bottom back right. Good+ DJ/Fine+ book.
