Brown cloth boards are distressed, cloth is sunned and rippled, corners are worn round, text box on front is quite worn, barely readable, spine sunned and worn - text is clear. Endpapers are tanned and soiled, rear inside cover and endpapers are water damaged, no odor. Staining in various spots on the interior, pages 69-73 have a small burn. Tale of a black golf caddie was written in an African-American dialect "It seemlike to me dat some people is gitting mighty stuck up dese days.
