Boards have noticeable scuff/wear on corners and edges from years of use, typical of an antiquarian book of this age, both spine corners have some chipping, some minor looseness of spine cover, Previous owners name written on the inside front cover. Book Three-Uncle Remus and His Friends, Green cloth over boards. Original gilt and black decorations sharp & bright; green cloth boards lightly soiled from handling; rubbed spine & corners. Light racking at first signature & p.141, otherwise, solid binding. A curved 1" tear from margin of .p 141; most illustrated pages have lower 1-2" loose from binding. Text block softly dulled with age, particularly at edges.
