Philadelphia ?.: John C. Winston, 1897. Decorative boards the front showing the cabin above a gilt shield and the titles in dark green the front board have the title portion framed in gilt.The titles in a gilded box on the spine are faded and the book in general shows shelf wear to the hinge at the front of the spine.The cloth is becoming a little thread bare.The bottom of the spine is a little frayed.The inside hinges are cracked the binding however appears to be fine with the exception of two or three pages which look to have been tipped in.A noumber of pages have been torn but are complete.There is light foxing starting.and the boards are a little soiled. This is,on the whole a very good copy of this rare volume.. First Thus. Pictorial Cloth Hard Cover. Good. Illus. by 100 Illustrations from Origional Drawings By Celebrated Artists. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
