Second UK edition of "Uncle Tom's Cabin", as stated on the title page. Published by George Routledge & Co., London, 1852, and Henry G. Bohn, London, 1852, respectively. Measures 4" x 6.5". Half-bound in black calf over nonpareil marbled boards with marbled fore-edges and endsheets. Raised bands to the spine with gilt decorations and titling. The book is in very good antiquarian condition. Minor rubbing and toning to the boards with worn edges. The leather is very well preserved at the spine with vibrant gilt. Previous owner's name erasure on the front leaf. Light foxing to the rear leaves. The textblock is gently toned but largely clean with sound binding.
