A collection of stories by William Faulkner which fall into one of three kinds: those which were published but never in a Faulkner short-story collection, those which he revised to become parts of later books, and those which have remained (until now) unpublished. Edited and with an introduction by Joseph Blotner, with drawn portrait of the author by Alan Reingold. An entry in the publisher's First Edition Society series. One of an unspecified number in this limited edition. --- Bound in full black bonded leather covers with three raised bands on spine. Spine titling, elaborate decorations to covers and spine, and textblock edges (AEG) all in bright gilt. Interior leaves printed on high-quality papers. Grey silk moire endpapers, with matching sewn-in satin ribbon placemarker. Volume lacks a dust jacket (as issued). --- A newish, tightly-bound, unmarked copy lacking apparent damages.
