Good/ Fair (Book - fading to cloth at extremities and where loss to jacket, mild foxing to prelims, last few pages and fore edge of book block. Dust spotting to top edge. Previous owner name and date March 1945 in ink to free front end paper.War economy paper of book block evenly tanned. Dust Jacket- chipped to extremities mainly around head and tail of spine - max depth 9 mm approx. and 1.5 cm tear to top rear panel at spine fold. Foxing showing through to white of rear panel. Non price clipped - cover 10/6. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve to which pieces of coloured paper have been inserted to mask the stark white of the backing paper so as not to offend the eye on the bookshelf).
