Illustrated throughout with Shute paintings reproduced in black and white on coated paper. Bound in red cloth printed in black, white, green and gold. Light wear to spine. Brooklyn bookseller's tag ("F. Loeser & Co.") on front pastedown and discreet stamp ("Fred'k Loeser & Co.") on title page. Text block clean and crisp. A volume in the "Soldiers of Fortune Series" published under the Stratemeyer Syndicate. A bright, handsome copy, now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
