Delacorte Press, New York, 1975. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed. Very Good Book/Very Good Dust Jacket. Signed by author on half-title page. First Printing as stated. Sage green quarter cloth binding with olive green paper over boards, gilt stamped signature on front, gilt title and blind stamped decorations on spine. Cloth shows spots of very faint red discoloration and wrinkle on front. Dust jacket is protected in mylar sleeve that has become unfolded at top and bottom. Dust jacket is soiled with some spots of staining, a few light indentations and creases, a 1/8" closed tear on the front top edge, and edgewear on top and bottom. Dust jacket is not price clipped with $10.00 price and "7794" on front flap. Top edge of book stained yellow and shows some spots of dampstaining near the fore edge. Fore edge deckled. Bottom edge shows a few scratches, all edges show spots of foxing. Yellow endpapers also show faint red discoloration on front and rear pastedowns, light bend on front free endpaper. Binding is tight and square. Large spots of foxing on title page, smaller spots throughout textblock. Pages show light stains in upper corners from dampstaining on top edge stain, otherwise bright. 283 pages. 6-3/8 X 9-3/8.
