Harriman in black and white. Book is illustrated throughout in black and white photographs and occasional maps and/or diagrams. Clean, crisp pages with no marginalia whatsoever. Includes bibliography, endnotes and is indexed. Dustjacket is in very good condition with chipping and small tears to the spine, and the cover bears wear along the edges, slight tears, some rubbing and slight fading. Bears photograph of locomotive in black and white and blue, black and red color themes. [xviii] 654 pp. Overall a very nice copy. The Union Pacific Railroad (legally Union Pacific Railroad Company and simply Union Pacific), is a freight-hauling railroad that operates 8,300 locomotives over 32,200 miles routes in 23 U.S. states west of Chicago and New Orleans. Union Pacific is the second largest railroad in the United States after BNSF. (Wikipedia).
