Collection of Civil War essays, battle orders, prison narratives, songs, addresses, humorous sketches and more, as seen by the Northern side. Illustrated in black and white. Companion volume to the author's previous book, The Confederate Reader. Dark blue cloth lettered in gilt, 362 pages, printed dustjacket. The book has some very light edgewear, internally about fine with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and also has some light edgewear and a faded spine. Very clean copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
