New York: K. Bileski, 1947. First Edition. Fine. Szyk, Arthur. Heliochrome lithograph, SIGNED by Arthur Szyk and Arthur Jaffe, and Kasimir Bileski on the verso. Image size is 12" x 10" - sheet size is 18" x 16". Arthur Szyk (1894 - 1951) is considered the greatest illuminator of the 20th Century. The London Times declared his artwork to be "among the most beautiful....ever produced by the hand of man." Szyk was also one of the leading political artists in America during World War II. A fine copy.
