About This Item
Anonymous. UNTITLED - (Soldiers on Patrol). Pastels on paper, not dated. Unsigned. 11 7/8 x 11 1/4 inches. A very well executed image showing a group of five armed soldiers in what appears to be a desert streching to a distant horizon where black smoke is rising from an unseen source; clouds of red and blue/green are reflected on the sand below, vehicle tracks in the foreground trail off into the distance; small, desert shrubs grow from the sands. There is nothing which provides a clue as to the dating or location of this scene. In very good condition with a short tear, bottom center, and few very tiny edge nicks.
Synopsis
After an event at which futurist Edmond Kirsch is to announce a groundbreaking discovery erupts into chaos, Robert Langdon rushes to Barcelona to locate a cryptic password that will reveal Kirsch's secret before it is lost forever.
