Chicago New York London: Follett Publishing Company, 1966. First Edition, Fifth Printing . Soft cover. Very Good/Fine Dustjacket. Dustjacket virtually unworn, not price-clipped, no damage of any kind, but 1/8" shorter than the book; gold "Newberry Medal" sticker on front panel, and 1967 Newberry medal mentioned on front flap. Book itself is virtually unworn but has a light waterstain on the external boards extending along bottom edge of outside covers, but nor showing at all on the endpapers or pages or page edges.

Synopsis

Up a Road Slowly is a coming-of-age novel by Irene Hunt that won the Newbery Medal for excellence in American children's literature in 1967. The story takes place in the United States during the mid 20th century.
