About This Item
Thousand Oaks, CA, U.S.A.: Sage Publications, 1994. Hard Cover. Fine/No Jacket. Near Fine: this is a study of the restructuring of the major economic and political organizations of American society and their intstitutitional interrelations, which have provided the organizational context for contemporary urban and suburban development; it argues that the spatial restructuring of urban America cannot be explained by either contemporary ecological or neomarxist theory; rather it is largely the result of changes in the organizational structure and operaton of America's intergovernmental system; the central focus of this book is a description and analysis of the federal system of urban policy making as it has evolved since the 1930s (red & black laminated cover with white & black lettering is slightly rubbed; otherwise a bright, clean, tight copy)
