Presumed first edition, none as early or earlier found on Abe as of April 2023. This copy is NEAR FINE. Covers are rich. Gilt is bright. Minimal wear to tips, edges and spine ends.Inside has black EPs , unmarked, crisp, and tight with very modest toning. Also laid in is a 2 page ad for " Apsley House Slough" , a Sanatarium for practical instruction in the Uric Acid Free Diet. Lovely.SCARCE in this edition..
