Very good first edition of the Gentleman's Magazine, featuring one of the earliest English printings of the American Constitution (page 1008-1011). Volume LVII of the Magazine, Part the Second. Very good with wear on spine edges and corners, chips in leather at spine head and tail, browning and soiling between pastedown and endpapers. Fading on marbled boards. Quarter brown calf over marbled boards; six raised bands on spine. Housed in custom-made slipcase.
