Washington, D.C.: Department of the Navy, 1985. Hardcover. Very Good. Book is signed by the then U.S. Vice-President G.H.W. Bush. Book was presented to the officers and men of the USS Midway (CV-41) on the occasion of her 40th anniversary. USS Midway is a U.S. Navy forward deployed aircraft carrier. Burgundy hard cover with gilt embossed titling on front and spine, gilt embossed insignia on front, illustrated end papers, SIGNED by Bush on end paper, colour photographs throughout, 464 pages. Cover has light wear to corners, upper front corner has a quarter-inch open tear in surface covering on leading edge, light shelf wear as well as some pressure marks on insignia, otherwise book is in nice condition. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
