About This Item
Dolphus Skinner. Utica, New York, 1827 Book size about 9 by 11 inches with several hundred pages. Bound in paper covered boards with leather spine and tips. This book consists of The Utica Magazine from March, 1827 to March, 1828; Utica Evangelical Magazine from March, 1828 to March, 1829; The Evangelical Magazine from March, 1829 to January, 1930; all under the editorship of Mr. Skinner. Upstate New York was the center of great religious fervor at this time and I think the changes in Mr. Skinner's magazine title helps illustrate that. Exceedingly scarce. Covers in wretched shape; much foxing throughout but perfectly readable. GOOD Language: eng Language: eng 0.0 Language: eng Language: eng Language: eng. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
