New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., Inc., 1930. First trade edition, 1930, with personalized inscription signed by Vallee in green ink on the half-title. Classic rags-to-riches show business story. Black cloth, illustrated endpapers, 263 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book has quite a bit of wear, including rubbed-through corners, chipped and fraying spine ends, front hinge lightly cracked, text block sound, pages a little age-toned at the edges but clean and free from other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has extensive edgewear and some chipping, vertical crease down the front panel, general shelfwear.. Inscribed by The Author. First Trade Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
