Goteborg [Sweden]: Wettergren & Kerbers Forlag (1957).. (1957).. Very good. - Small quarto [9-3/4 inches high by 7 inches wide], softcover bound in printed cream wrappers. The binding is bumped with the spine & extremities darkened & with the surface rubbed away from the bottom corner of the front wrap. The tail of the spine is chipped. There is a small stain to the front wrap & some tiny marks to the rear wrap. Title, 168 & [1] pages. Black-and-white portrait frontispiece & full-page black-and-white illustrations. Very good. <p>The text is in Swedish with an English summary. The English subtitle printed on the title page is "A study in the religious art and ideas of Ernst Josephson".<p>An important Swedish artist and pioneer of modern art, Josephson's latent, inherited schizophrenia overtook him at the age of 37.
