Decorah, Iowa: The Anundsen Publishing Company, 1927. HB. Green cloth, gilt lettering on front cover and spine, 8vo, 208 pp. Scarce work by Foss (1851-1929), who immigrated to America from Norway in 1877, was active in the temperance movement, and became editor of a Norwegian newspaper in North Dakota. Foss is most associated with his 1899 novel, Husmands-gutte, (English: The Cotter's Son). Owner's name ffep, no marks in text, binding tight. Covers show minor edge wear, spine lettering rubbed. Book condition VG. Text in Norwegian.
