Some chipping at the corners of the dustjacket with a few small nicks and short tears around the edges; previous owner's name in pencil on the front free endpaper. On their way to witness the demonstration of an atomic ray, they learn the inventor has been kidnapped and it is up to them, along with the inventor's daughter, to solve the mystery of his disappearance and preserve the secret of the atomic ray....
