Cover with ornate lithographic flourishing design of pink roses among prominent red heart and inset scene of pastoral vernal pond setting. Small lightly pencilled inscription at front cover: 'To Teacher." Thick heavy stock leaves, near fine. Charming frontispiece of elegant young lady with large fur hat detailed with long peacock feathers leaning in with fur collared coat likely by artist Jessie Barrick. Vernal climbing vines at front and back endpapers. Beautiful lithographic designs in rich colors of ruby red, pinks, blues and greens, throughout. Dynamic colorful vignettes of cherubs and angelic themes with natural floral and arboreal decorations, dentelle borders. Several beautiful blue floral bouquets. Bind good. Unique, string-bound volume. Designed and printed by The Hayes Lithography Company of Buffalo New York. Apprx. 40 pages. Insured post.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
