B&W photographs throughout book. ; 8.5 X 0.25 X 11 inches; 192 pages; "Vancouver and Beyond is an anthology of 50 'stories' about British Columbia's Lower Mainland in the early years of the 20th century. These stories grew out of a prized collection of picture postcards. While some of the images are not all that uncommon, most of the pictures are rare survivors of the "golden age" of postcards, which encompassed the years between 1900 and 1914, the relatively short period when Vancouver ended its days as a frontier town and became a significant Canadian city." This book enhances the history of Vancouver and the surrounding communities extending out the Fraser Valley. .

About Ainsworth Books
Ainsworth Books was for many years a bricks and mortar store in Vancouver, BC. When we acquired the store, we moved to a location in Delta. After three years we moved the stock home and started operation as an online, by appointment only operation. I have worked with books my whole adult life and enjoy giving recommendations.
