This is a limited edition, SIGNED BY THE ILLUSTRATOR JOHN AUSTEN, this being #733/1500 copies. Twenty full-page illustrations by Austen. Housed in elusive custom slipocase with paper label, with same designs as the covers. Box has one small area of old tape repair at top open edge. Total of 772pp. in the two volumes. First published in 1848, it is a novel following the lives of Becky Sharp and Amelia Sedley, their friends and families, during and after the Napoleonic Wars.
