Translated from the French by Havock Ellis. Original publisher's darl blue cloth spine with silver spine lettering over blue decorated paper covered boards. Includes the original gray slipcase which has one tiny tear and separation at the the top open edge. With 200 drawings by the author from original 1848 first edition. Introductions by John T. Winterich and John Sloan. ; B&W Illustrations; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 374 pages .
