Proctor, 3 page preface dated June, 1848, 5 pages of Contents, 2 page List of Plates, 40 Illustrations on steel and wood by the Author.
Condition - recently rebound in half leather (Morocco) with marbled paper in contemporary style. New end papers. 6 panel with gilded title on spine. Original faded marbled edges. Text and illustrations free of foxing, light toning of edges of illustrations.
