Leather backstrip missing, rear joint tender, otherwise a tight, clean copy with only a bit of soiling to endpapers in a rubbed and soiled slipcase.. 217 pp. Illus. with engraved frontis and elaborate titles and 12 foldout facsimiles. Sm. 4to. One of ten copies presented by the Bibliofile Society to the book collector William Bixby (of a run of 470). Inscribed by Bixby to the author I. H. Lionberger. The elaborate engraved title page is signed by its artist, J. A. J. Wilcox.
