Folio. 604 pp. Dark green quarter morocco over marbled boards, gilt lettered direct to the spine, matching green cloth slipcase. 195 plates of mills and winches and the like faithfully reproduced from the original edition. A minor scuff towards the foot of the spine, a handsome copy. Reprinted from the Cambridge University Library copy of "Le Diverse et Artificiose Machine del Capitano Agostino Ramelli". More commonly found in the trade edition, bound in cloth with a card slipcase. This would appear to be a deluxe copy produced for the publisher, possibly unique or produced in a very small run.
