Softened and frayed spine ends and corners rubbed to board . Binding starting to loosen a little. Pages clean but a little tanned with age. 1790s - Bonaparte's invasion leads to the fall of the Republic of Venice. The Vicomte de Saulx, a French aristocrat supposedly guillotined during the French Revolution, enters the world of espionage in Venice. 5.25" X 7.75 X 1.25". 323 pages.
