About This Item
Athens: Kaufmann, Publishers, 1928.. 85,[3]pp. Large octavo (24 x 16 cm). Printed tan wrapper. Some chipping and tears at spine ends, otherwise a very good, largely unopened copy. First and only edition, ordinary issue. Copy #215 of 202 copies on ordinary paper, from a total edition of 300 (including 5 on Japan, 46 on Hollande, and 47 on Ingres). The copyright is taken in the name of H.F. Kaufmann, who might also be the author as well as publisher of this collection of verse dedicated to the author's wife. OCLC locates a single copy, at the University of Cincinnati, and a few attempts at tracking the existence of the "1st series" have been fruitless. To a disinterested eye, domestic affection appears to be the sole justification for the poet's efforts. OCLC :36730034.
