About This Item

London: Victor Gollancz Ltd, 1968. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Good. Hardback. A good copy in red cloth lettered in gilt on the spine. Would be very good but for just a little ink writing and side-lining in the text and some pencilled writing on rear end-papers. Neat previous owner's inscription on front free end-paper. In a good dustwrapper which has very small chips and a few edge tears. The dustwrapper is now protected in a clear, removable, sleeve. 191 pages. Described as "a complex and mature novel" which is set in Glasgow.
