Very Good Condition/good. the dust jacket is rubbed and chipped across top and bottom edges, there is foxing on the title page, and on the last page. The binding is sound, and the book is free of annotation. Illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs and some reproductions of artworks, and includes descriptions of various operators. The appendix gives a list of vocal and instrumental operatic recordings which have appeared in recent editions of the Victor record catalogue.. 10th edition.
