Ministry of Education (Schools Division), Victoria, 1937. Reprint. Softcover (Saddle-stapled). Good Condition. Illustrator: various. The text is illustrated black and white line drawings and the occasional four page coloured illustration. 1/4 blue coloured cloth reinforced back strip. 3/4 illustrated front panel with black coloured titles. The second of the Victorian Readers series of books for primary school children. The book is showing its age – please see photograph. Creasing of the book corners and of the panels. Rubbing of edges and panels with staining also present. Some fraying of the cloth of the back strip. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages with creasing of page 51 to the left hand edge. Previous owners name to the top edge of the title page and a another owner has underlined the title of the book (on the title page) and then placed their name underneath. Remnants of tape can be seen to the verso of the covers. Second Edition. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). [4], 5 - 104 pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: various.
