Jules Barile, 1842-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good. All five volumes are bound in brown leather and pebbled brown board. The spines are decorated with three gold cubes and four raised bands. The board is scuffed and worn. The spines are scuffed, the heads/tails have a few chips, there are some black scuffs on the surface. Bookplates on the inside cover of each volume, light foxing throughout. The first three volumes were written by Decamps and have engravings in the books, the second two volumes were written by D'Argenville and just have frontis engravings. French language. All orders packed with care, dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011
