Hardcover edition with dust jacket, 1960. This is a book club edition. the dust jacket is intact and has the 'Book Club Edition' notation on the lower corner of the front flap. Dust jacket has been protected with a clear cover, that has been taped to the boards with strips of masking tape which are still attached to the boards. Crack in the gutter at the front pastedown though the sewn binding is entirely intact and tight and square. Red topstain on the edge of the text block does not appear to be faded at all. Former owner's initials written in fine point black ink on the lower edge of the text block, two letter. Very little wear to the dust jacket, some light edge wear to the head of the spine area, but no further wear since it has been covered. No further writing besides the initials on the bottom. Not a library discard. Solid copy. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
