London, Printed by John Hartnell, for J. Burditt,, 1806.. 1806 Two volumes in one containing Dialogues I - XVII. 150, [2]; 193 p. Engraved portrait. Contemporary calf, rubbed but sound. Spine gilt, with two labels. A good, sound copy. Hill's moral dialogues eventually reached five volumes. As an unconventional Church of England preacher he was denied ordination by several bishops, but went on to become one of the founders of RTS.
