This little edition tells about the beginnings, early businesses, churches, schools, negro families, the actual city, recollections, personalities and family histories, and the "Ridgetop" of Greenbrier, Tennessee from 1858 to 1920. Hardcover. Bound in green publisher's cloth with gilt lettering on the cover. The spine is plain. The title page is illustrated with a tree behind the text in black and white. Illustrated throughout with many photographs, drawings and other artifacts throughout. It also contains a bibliography, a fold out map, and a section for the reader to document "Charting Your Roots". Indexed. 151 pp. This copy shows moderate wear, and a previous owner's address label is affixed to the front pastedown and copyright page. Aside from the authors' signatures and a line in the margin on page 19, this copy is free from any marginalia or creasing. A nice copy. Additional photographs available upon request. Full refund if not satisfied.
