The exceedingly scarce sequel to Smith's other St. Germain novels, Soft Lips on Black Velvet and Baroness of Blood. From the back cover teaser: "The Count had to get out of Russia quickly. The KGB knew that, and so did the MVD. Their agents swarmed like flies around the Count. So did the women. There was Sonia, KGB agent, Felicia, rabid right-wing American, Charlotta, whose husband was a KGB bigshot, and then there was the luscious Adelina Ponomarev, whom nobody seemed to know anything about except that she obviously had high connections." 183+ pages. CONDITION: a bright, tight, square, unmarked, uncreased, likely unread copy with minimal shelf-wear, compromised only by a bit of (dampness-induced) discoloration on the page-block top and residue from a removed price sticker on the back cover.
