About This Item
Avalon Books, 1959. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket/Very Good. Illustrated by Emshwiller, Ed (dustjacket). Pages crisp and clean except for some foxing at the head edge, modest toning along the hinges, a prior owner's name on the front endpaper, and a spot of adhesive stain on the front free endpaper; binding square and secure, full red cloth cover only mildly shelf-rubbed around the heel edges. Jacket has a small, closed tear at the spine head, shallow ripples (with no evidence of water damage) at the left front, some pale yellow spotting on the rear, a line of surface wear at the foreedge, and some very short wrinkles and some rubbing at spine heel and corners, otherwise well-kept, unclipped, now protected in a new, clear sleeve.
