Garden City, New York, Toronto: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1922. This is a Very Good copy of the First American Edition (stated "First Edition"). Blue cloth binding with titling in black on the spine and front cover, which also features a broadsword as decoration. Clean text; 294 pages. Frontis illustration, which is a bit loose at the bottom. There is a contemporary bookseller label on the rear paste-down, which still has the price ($1.75), which was meant to tear off. The spine has faded to a green colour; mild rubs to the margins; some spotting to front cover Despite noted defects, a rather nice copy, that presents well. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
