About This Item

This edition is in a good condition. There is wear to the external leather binding (see photos), but the overall internal bindings are still tight. Illustrated by Gustave Dore, this is the translated version by the Reverend Henry Francis Cary. Illustrations throughout, along with explanations make this an interesting reference to Dante's Inferno. This is a large, leather bound edition and would definitely make a great addition to anyone's collection
