The boards, inner book and dust jacket are all in near fine condition, th box is in very good condition with a tiny bit of corner wear. there is a page dedicated as a gift presention with "Presented To" , "From" and "On This Date". All three are elegantly filled in. " In December of 1823 the poem now known as The Night Before Christmas was first published anonymously and has since become the best loved poem of all time. Now, for the first time in The Visit Dinghy Sharp, a direct descendant of recognized author, Clememt Clarke Moore, shares her delightful story with us all, and reveals the history and origin of this beloved poem as it has ben passed down for generations in the Moore family..
